Install Kali Linux Alongside Windows 7 - Dual Boot Kali Linux and Windows 7 from the same Computer

Hey there!
So, I think I am back on Blogger too, with this post as I hope I will be posting updates about my new tutorials on my Blogger too.

Note that, this process is complicated, and you need to follow the tutorial carefully, in order to install Kali Linux alongside Windows 7.
If anything goes wrong in this process, then you are going to loose your OS, and you may end up with no Operating System on your Hard Drive.

Therefore, you should be careful ,and keep your senses alert!
There is a tutorial video, at the end of this post, so you can directly watch it for better Understanding

Install Kali Linux Alongside Windows 7

Step 1 : The first thing you probably got to do, is get the installation files of Kali Linux. Installation files in the sense, you should get the ISO image file of Kali Linux which is around 2.90 GB.
You can Download the ISO image file, from the official Kali Linux Website at : http://kali.org/downloads or CLICK HERE to directly go to the Website ( Ad-Free).
Please note that you need to download either the 32 bit version or 64 bit version, whichever is compatible with your Device.

Step 2 : The next step is to get a bootable CD or a USB. You need to format the CD or USB before you can fill it with the installation files of Kali Linux. Then download Universal USB Installer from here : http://www.pendrivelinux.com/ or CLICK HERE to directly go to the website.
Then, you got to Extract the installation files of Kali Linux from the ISO image file, to your CD or USB drive using the Universal USB installer (if you don't know how, then you can watch the video tutorial attached at the end of this post)

Step 3 : This is one of the most important step. You need to partition your disk, and create some free space on your hard disk, so that Kali Linux can be installed in that free space.
Simply right click on Computer and select 'Computer Management', then select 'Disk Management' present at the right side of the screen. Then, you need to create some Un-allocated space on your hard drive, I recommend you to un allocate atleast 40 GB or more, to install Kali Linux. If you want a detailed explanation on how to do this, watch the video attached at the end of this post (it is a complete tutorial on how to install kali linux alongside windows 7)

Step 4 : After you have successfully extracted the files, simply Restart your Computer, and go to the boot menu, by tapping the F2 key on your Keyboard (the key may vary for you, depending on your Computer, however, you will able to see what key to tap, when your Computer starts)
You will then enter the BIOS, then you got to move to the Boot menu, and set the boot options (Boot Device Priority) such that your Computer boots from the USB or CD. Finally, tap F10 to Save Changes and Exit.

Step 5 : You will now be directed to the Installation menu of Kali Linux, where you should select 'Graphical Install' from the list of options. You will then be asked to choose the language, so choose the language, and click on Next.
The installation process is very simple at this stage, you just got to follow the onscreen instructions (Watch the video, at the end of this post, for the total tutorial on this Process)

Step 6 : The most important step in this process is 'Partitioning the Disk' , in this part of Installation, you need to select 'Guided - Use the Entire Free Space' from the list of options. This is very Important, because if you do anything wrong in this process, then your Hard disk is going to be formatted, and you are going to loose all the files including your Operating System. So just do what I told, and then select 'All Files in One Partition' and finally click on 'Finish Partitioning and write changes to disk' . The remaining part of the Installation is Easy Peasy, you just got to follow the Onscreen Instructions. Finally select 'Yes' when it asks you whether you want to install GRUB boot loader to the Master Boot Record.

I know that this post is not very clear, because I skipped to explain the Easy things in the Installation Process. However, if you want a complete tutorial on each and every single part, then you can watch my Video Tutorial below. It is a Step By Step Tutorial.
